Product Description

Affinity purified goat anti-rabbit IgG (H&L) antibody is conjugated to calf intestinal alkaline phosphatase. This product has been optimized for use as a secondary antibody in western blotting and ELISA applications.

Storage

Supplied in 10mM sodium HEPES (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 2 mg/ml bovine serum albumin (BSA) and 50% glycerol. Store at –20°C. Do not aliquot the antibody. This product is stable for 60 months when stored at -20C.

Background

The alkaline phosphatase (AP) conjugated secondary antibodies are utilized in conjunction with specific chemiluminescent or other substrates for detection on Western blots. One of the advantages of AP conjugation is that the reaction rate remains linear for a long period of time.
